Inspired by the desire to bringing people together, I founded Yoga Mala as an open door for all walks of life to unite, share and connect. Believing we are stronger together, this space is social project focused on building a community of collaboration and exchange.

Located at the Port, experience yoga like a local. Yoga Mala, is a truly unique studio in Nice that embodies the full spirit of the city and is home to some of the best teachers in Nice. Nestled in a charming, traditional Niçois building, our space is infused with history and the soaring energy of Nice’s iconic symbol, the eagle, representing strength, freedom, and transformation.

For over 25 years, I offer a combination of yoga, breathwork, and Prana Running – a game changing running approach I developed for you to feel  like you are flying when you are running. You’ll experience a transformation process that has you feel good in your body, clear in your mind and deeply connected to yourself, moving with ease whether on the mat, on a run or navigating the demands of your day.

I kicked off my yoga journey in Tokyo in 2001 while juggling a hectic advertising career and training for triathlons. I needed balance and a way to recharge and yoga became my go-to sanctuary. 

Now, yoga not only keeps me grounded but and gives me the energy to stay the happy go lucky gal, alive, poised and agile that is my authentic me as it helps me avoid getting caught up in the chaos of life!

I’ve been teaching for close to 25 years, and what keeps me motivated is seeing the positive transformation in my students. Witnessing how simple practices like breathwork and movement can bring clarity, energy, and well-being to people’s lives is incredibly rewarding. Each class reinforces my passion for helping others experience that connection and lightness, which continually inspires me to keep sharing and evolving as a teacher.

Yes, absolutely, Prana Running is all about connecting with the breath and enjoying the process, not about speed or distance. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned runner, the focus is on fun mindful movement at your own pace. Everyone is welcome!

Culture Wellness Classes

Take a stroll through the Old Nice and discover the poetic history of this vibrant gem of the French Riviera. We will then make our way to the castle park for yoga over with an aerial view of Nice.

My goal is to help you experience just how powerful simple breathing techniques can be for your mind and body, giving you more vitality and energy. In our classes, we’ll blend science with philosophy in a way that’s fun and easy to understand, so you’ll always know what you’re doing and why it works. I focus a lot on nasal breathing and the importance of exhaling to really help you feel those benefits come to life.

Whether through group or private: classes, immersive weekends, or private/corporate sessionall in English – experience the power of of transformation.

If you are not local to Nice and cannot travel, we could meet up on line for private sessions and training.

In my breath-led yoga, the breath leads the way. This practice isn’t about chasing shapes or perfecting poses,it’s about remembering a state of being. When we stop striving, the body softens, the mind eases, and the nervous system finds calm.

From this remembering, movement arises naturally, not as performance, but as a flow guided by the breath. Yoga becomes more than something we do on the mat; it becomes a way to move through life with presence, ease, and clarity.

This is the essence of yoga: a gentle return to yourself, where body, mind, and breath align, and life flows with more ease.
