Teaching private classes, workshops as well as trainings, Yuko also work with companies to create Wellness events.

Her specialities include breathing and yoga practice for improving mental health; enhancing the quality of life for asthmatics; and caters for a holistic approach for women from teenagers, to pre and post natal new mothers. Yuko’s passion for breathing has led her to create and develop the revolutionary breath led running method, Talaria yoga running

Yuko is intuitive and has an abundance of knowledge to share about philosophy, mindset and bodywork. She is known for her authenticity and empathy. She is approachable, passionate and thorough. Her sessions lead you to reflect on a deeper level. She exudes grace, gratitude and good humour and is dedicated to helping people along their journey.  

With a practice that has spanned over 25 years, as a mentor Yuko has been teaching yoga for close to 20 years. Having studied under the most seasoned Yoga teachers around the world, learned from experienced health professionals in the field of breathing, human anatomy and movement, she continues to learn from the most progressive science-related professionals specially in the fields of neuroscience, neurochemistry and meditation. She is also an avid kitesurfer, a passionate trail runner and loves to swim in sea.

About Guillaume
Guillaume is an accomplished athelete not only breaking world records, leading his own line of clothes and freediving academy, but who has written numerous books on the oceans, is an tenations advocate for preserving the planet and focuses on maintaining a dynamic life to keep exploring. 

The Challenge
Although Guillaume has a myriad of training techniques, he needed an external guide to present him with an adapted session depending on his objectives. Either to prepare for competition, to heal from injury or simply just to have someone there to motivate his personal practice.

The solution
To maintian a regular practice, we meet 2 to 3 times per week for 45 to 60 minute sessions. The sessions start dynamic at the beginning of the week with tips for personal practice, by mid week we check that the new information is integrated and the last session of the week tends to be focused on a rest-and-restore session.

The results
With intention specific sessions, Guillaume can maintain regular practice and is able to explore and fine tune the new acquired tools to deepen his yoga experience.

Welcome to your personal journey. Each session will focus on nourishing what already works in harmony. Too often we focus on the things that are not going well rather than supporting the areas that are functioning and even thriving. Tensions tend to be symptoms of a much deeper rooted knot. By directing our attention through our breath to create support into the functioning elements, superfluous tension willl naturally melt away.

What is the difference between your approach and other approaches
You are.
This is your journey. Even if our sessions are influenced by learning how to master the breath, this time is yours. There are indeed a plathora of formidable mindful practices and they guide us all to a sense of wholeness and wellbeing. Yet you are unique and so should your transformation journey be too.

What are the methods used?
A subtle blend of yoga philosophy in the practice of intention, breathing (based on simulated altitude training and Buteyko – breathing for asthmatics) and postural movement (based on human development, fascia structure and lymph drainage) and the latest science backed brain and breathing excercises that relate to the yoga approach. The intention of our time together is to place formost the tools necessary for correct brain functioning. The brain is like a hard drive is to a computer. If the hard drive is not receptive, whatever software you put on it will not be effective. In as such, we will practice intentions, breath and movement to support brain health. Intentions and breath will then determine mind health and movement will be the expression of this alignment.
